Who are the Courses Designed for?
Is your team a right fit for these courses?
If your business is growing and in need of future leaders, this program is a perfect fit. Whether it is service supervisors, regional or district managers, call center managers, sales managers, etc., there are core leadership abilities that all future leaders need. The ability to build your bench strength and preparing for scaling your unique business, is critical. In the process there is also a need to determine who on your bench is best suited for what roles in the organization and if they in fact truly are cut out for what it takes to be a great leader. The program accomplishes both.
The Evolve YT Supervisor Development Series provides six foundational courses, each unique but when put together provide a total package for leadership development. The challenging curriculum helps sort out leader “wannabes” from true leaders of the future. Our graduates will have a well-rounded foundation that will serve them in future leadership roles as well as their personal lives.
Who Should Attend?
While similar, the expectations of the course are slightly different for current leaders and emerging leaders attending the program.
Continue the development of your supervisor team and invest in their ongoing growth as leaders of your organization. We combine readings from world recognized thought leaders as a foundation for each course, combining it with lecture, group discussion and guest lecturers. The result is a weekly interactive session that is thought provoking and rigorous, taking a deep dive into six different disciplines that leaders will work with day to day.
As your company grows, identifying the best candidates for leadership becomes critical. Use these courses to learn which members of your team have the potential and desire to grow as leaders. As part of the program to help identify your emerging leaders, we will provide you with 1:1 direct feedback to include your emerging leader’s attendance, class participation, homework preparation etc. Ultimately, we will help you understand how committed your emerging leader is to his or her personal development and being “the best they can be,” as a leader of your team.
At Cooper Pest, we did exactly this, with over 30 people going through the program and 11 of them rising into leadership roles. The courses helped some teammates realize that they did not actually want the responsibility that comes with being a leader, while others were motivated to go to even higher levels than they first thought possible. We took technicians, customer service reps, sales reps and members of the accounting team and gave them the experience to prepare themselves for leadership roles. Most importantly, they were ready when we were ready, shortening the learning curve and making our success rate of new managers and leaders skyrocket.
Our No Risk Guarantee: If You're Not Satisfied, The Course is on Us
At Evolve YT, we hold ourselves to a rigorous standard. If you or your team does not get out of the course what you wanted, the course is on us and we will credit your class registration back.
- Expectations of the Student
When a student registers for the course we will ask for their top five expectations entering the course. We will review their expectations before classes begin, to ensure that we can exceed those expectations. If we know up front that we cannot meet your expectations, we will reach out to you and either establish revised expectations or determine the course is not a right fit. We only want students who will thrive in class.
At the end of the course we will survey each student to see if the expectations were met. It’s a simple YES or NO. If no, the course is on us and we will issue a full credit.
- Expectations of the Manager/Leader Enrolling Them
If the student’s attendance was prompted by someone in your organization, we will also get their expectations going into the course. Many of our students are enrolled by someone else within a company’s leadership team. We will provide feedback during the course such as class attendance, homework, interaction during the course etc. Our bottom line is to help you identify the talent in your team in which you want to invest and if you want them to proceed forward in the Leadership Series.
At the end of each course we will survey each student, and for emerging leaders their manager/leader, to determine if the expectations were met. It’s that simple: YES or NO. If the answer is NO, the course is on us and a full credit will be issued.
